Video production · Daryl

Video production for businesses that care how they’re perceived.

I’m Daryl. A well-made film brings in better clients, shortens sales conversations, and makes the business easier to trust before anyone picks up the phone. Brand stories, event coverage, promo videos, and ongoing content. Based in London, working across the UK.

About.

Daryl McCollin directing a live production shoot at an Elevate workplace event

I’ve been making films professionally for over ten years, working with businesses across commercial interiors, wellness, events, and professional services.

What I care about is whether the film does its job. Not just whether it looks good, but whether it brings in better enquiries, shortens sales conversations, and makes the right people trust the business before they’ve even spoken to you.

I lead the whole process from brief to delivery, and I bring in a crew whenever the job calls for it. The scale flexes to the project without the approach changing.

I like to understand the business before anything is filmed, and on the day I’m there to direct, helping people feel comfortable and making sure what’s captured actually reflects who you are.

Most clients describe working with me as calm and straightforward. That’s intentional.

Services

What we make.

Films

Brand stories, introduction films, case study and testimonial films, interview series, and promotional videos. The right film means the right clients understand what you do and why it matters before they’ve even spoken to you. Less time explaining in early meetings, and better conversations when they happen.

Projects range from a focused 60-second introduction to a full brand story film with supporting social cuts. All include pre-production planning, professional editing and colour grade, and files ready to use across your website, proposals, and social channels.

Events and coverage

Trade shows, exhibitions, showroom launches, product reveals, and brand events. You invest in showing up. Good coverage makes that investment last, turning a single day into follow-up content, sales material, and promotion for what comes next.

Available as a single day or across multiple days for larger events.

Ongoing content

Consistent video keeps you visible, builds authority over time, and means potential clients are already familiar with your work before they reach out. Monthly or quarterly shoot days, regular output, and a working relationship that builds as your needs develop.

Also covers video podcast production for founders and specialists building a visible point of view in their field.

How it works

The process.

  1. Brief

Before anything is planned or filmed, I take time to understand the business properly. What you do, who you’re talking to, and what the film actually needs to achieve. That conversation shapes everything that follows.

  2. Plan

A clear production plan before the shoot day, covering what we’re capturing, how the day runs, and what you’ll receive at the end. Everything agreed upfront.

  3. Shoot

A focused, well-organised shoot at whatever location suits the project. I direct the day, which means you don’t need to worry about what to say or how to come across on camera. That’s my job.

  4. Deliver

Edited, graded, and delivered in formats ready to use. On your website, in proposals, across social, wherever the film needs to work.

If you're thinking about a film, the best place to start is a conversation.

Tell me what you're working on and we'll take it from there.
